Colorado locals Graham and Kristina Fuller had been balancing their own work lives and being parents when they had an idea: to create the first-of-its-kind parenting musical. In The Trenches aims to bring light to the hilarity, frustration, and love that comes with having children, and remind folks that when it comes to parenting, no one really knows what they’re doing.

My role as a copywriter on this project was to assist in bringing this musical from a production with inconsistent brand assets and primarily local awareness to one with engaging curated content and a cohesive voice and theme.

Research with my creative team led us to the discovery that couples are 3 times happier when they get at least one date night a week, which led me to the idea for their tagline. We dove into the project from there, encouraging every parent to Take A Night Off!
